Teen Volunteer Workshop

Come Join Us!

Love horses and working with people? Consider Volunteering with us! We will be offering a workshop to help teens become Volunteers at If Wishes Were Horses. You do not need to have experience working with horses or with people with disabilities, this workshop will introduce you to the world of horses, grooming, horse handling, and the many ways you can contribute to our program with your time and energy. 

You must be accompanied by a parent or guardian or have our application and liability release signed when you arrive. No one can be near the horses without signed releases. Email us at info.WishesWereHorses@gmail.com for the necessary forms.

You must be at least 14 years of age to participate.

• Please wear clothing you don't mind getting dirty in and good boots. Toes need to be protected from accidentally getting stepped. 
• Dress for the weather, it is still unpredictable. 
• Wear gloves if the weather indicates we will be spending time outside.
